She has published 60 peer-reviewed academic articles in leading management and organization journals as well as more than 30 book chapters and 4 books. Her work has attracted over 11 000 citations based on Google Scholar.
She is an experienced educator of executives from many countries, representing both private and public sectors. She has also served as an advisor to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in Finland.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the disciplinary field of international business she has been elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business and the European International Business Academy.
